As PearlyWrites started as a Copywriting Company, providing writing, research and editing services (Get it, “Writing, Research and Beyond…) to all genres and sized businesses, I just wanted to write a blog post getting back to our roots. I guess this came from a older gentleman I met last night at a networking event in Boca Raton, Florida who asked me why I haven’t changed the name of the company if we provide more than Copywriting services. My answer to him was pretty much straight forward, explaining the meaning behind the company and how the company expanded into offering Online Marketing and Design services because that is how our business grew. Also copywriting goes hand in hand with Marketing for print and online so really we never stopped providing writing services.

I am not sure if my answer sufficed him but the truth is we have been PearlyWrites from before the days of keyword stuffing writing and even print marketing writing and then of course we have the meaning behind PearlyWrites. You know the whole middle name of Pearl and starting off as a Freelance Writer.

Though PearlyWrites is a pun for Pearly Whites, we do not provide dental services BUT if a dentist office happens to need online marketing services, we would love to help you! If you think about all the items needed to market your Website and businesses online, it all includes SEO copywriting. She said she was doing Organic SEO research to familiarize herself more about what online marketing  can do for her new Website. (YaY, an informed business owner! WTG! ) When she found my blog and after reading a few entries she said her and her business partner were hysterical. That they haven’t found someone, I assume, who writes from a comedic point of view. (Yes, I can be very sarcastic thanks to my good old Jersey upbringing!)

I am so glad that I brought a smile and happiness to a reader of my blog that it moved her to call me to tell me. That is amazing in itself! And then add in the smile and laughing that went along with our conversation just put the icing on the cake (a Gluten-Free Cake of course!).

Is Google’s PageRank algorithm changing?

There are many speculations about if this rumor is true or why Google wants to change their continued plan to conquering the Internet and make an online marketer rich world to totally dropping many high ranking sites down the totem pole.

Do you think Google likes that they have the power over the entire search engine market and building an Internet empire? Yes of course they do! Between all the buying of other companies, they just keep getting bigger and stronger but to change the algorithm that may hurt some companies, is the power going to far?

Or we can look at it another way; with the changing of the algorithm, will it give the smaller Websites and online businesses a chance to rank higher in the SERP’s? Unfortunately I cannot answer this question but would be interested in seeing if this rumor is true, how it will affect the online-racking-in-the-money business to the smaller gal’s online, working-hard-to-pay-the-bills eCommerce business.

One of my online networking connections pointed me to this site a few months ago and I didn’t give it enough time to review. The past two weeks I have been reading and reviewing the entire site more and they offer TONS of free information for their affiliates to use. From Webmaster ideas, forum support and the main Webmaster is always on the forums answering the newbie’s questions.

Now for even more exciting news! My client, who is very cool, asked if I could write an article that the hard link from the New York Times interview will be directed to. He felt rather than sending interested parties directly to his home page, having the traffic go to another page with more information about the topic would be ideal.

So the article I wrote will be linked to my client’s NYT interview!!! OK, it’s not an article in the NYT but at least its close…
